Betty G. Birney has written two books that take place during the same time period (a classroom year) but from the perspective of two different classroom pets--one is Humphrey a hamster and the other is Og a frog. The companion book to Trouble According to Humphrey is Exploring According to Og the Frog and it is fun to read them back-to-back although I love everyone of Betty Birney's books in this series!

I liked the book because it was really funny. My favorite part was when Kate was flying on the mist horse.

Greg is trying to find a date to the Valentines day dance in school. After he finds a date the way to dance is a weird and confusing journey.

Something funny is in this book. Farmer Ben's wife uses smelly mulch on the farm.

It was hilarious because the mom didn't do the right things they were supposed to do in kindergarten.

This book is about John Hancock, Paul Revere, George Washington, Ben Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson. It's a pretend book about when they were kids. It also has real information about these famous people. It's really funny because in one part Paul yells about extra large underwear.

It was hilarious because the dad didn't do the right things in the soccer team.
